Based in Belmar, NJ, Bench & Co. was founded by Michael and Lindsey, who are not only owners and designers but also skilled carpenters deeply passionate about woodworking.

Their journey began when Lindsey envisioned a unique bench design for their home but couldn't find exactly what she had in mind. Fueled by their combined years of carpentry expertise and a shared passion for creating one-of-a-kind pieces, Michael and Lindsey embarked on transforming their dream into reality. Thus, Bench & Co. was born—an endeavor marked by their commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Both Michael and Lindsey have strong ties to the Jersey Shore, having grown up surrounded by its natural beauty and coastal charm. This connection to their roots is evident in every piece they create at Bench & Co., where quality and a sense of community are paramount.

At Bench & Co., personal touches abound. Inspired by their three cherished dogs—Jax (CHONK), Opie, and Paisley—each furniture piece carries its own story and is named after these beloved companions who bring joy and inspiration to their lives!
